Story

Sonic, Knuckles and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they’ve faced before. The creators of the previous films mentioned that they played the solo game Sonikku adobenchâ 2 (2001) and Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) for inspiration. The film was also inspired by narrative elements from the Saturday morning animated television series Sonic the Hedgehog (1993). In the TV series Sonic X, Professor Gerald Robotnik was killed by G.U.N. agents.
